"Lifetime of memories" - Imaginarium Designs GDT

Hello my friends!
This is the last page I made as guest designer for Imaginarium Designs chipboard!
I really enjoyed playing with various mediums to cover them up! It is so creative and fun!!!
Their shapes, flourishes and phrases are amazing!!!!
I feel so lucky and honored to be given this opportunity!!!

Here is my layout based on "Once Upon A Sketch" challenge! My two little DDs at Marina Flisvou. It's a beautiful place to visit for those living in Athens! We had a GREAT day and really enjoyed it! I ALWAYS have my photo camera wherever we go, to capture the moments and keep the memories alive!!!
Please take the time to check this article:

Here is a quote in the New York times, “Making lots of backups is good advice, and on different formats, different places; consider paper as an archival medium. Some paper we have has lasted thousands of years. If Moses had gotten the Ten Commandments on a floppy disk, it would never have made it to today.”

"Together" & a tag for GDT Imaginarium Designs!!!

Hello my friends!

Today I am sharing two more projects I made as a guest for Imaginarium Designs!LOVE, LOVE, LOVE their designs!!!!

I went mixed media crazy and I really enjoyed it!!!
This photo was taken at the birthday party of Nefeli's best friend!

Vinyl hearts, fabric buttons, denim flower, washi tape : Purple Pumpkin!!!!! (In LOVE)

Materials used for "together":
Papers: Crate, SEI, Hambly Studios.
Chipboard: Imaginarium Designs
Stamps: Glitz
Pearls: Prima
UTEE: Ranger
Embossing folder: Provocraft

I used the sketch from Scrap friends!

For the layout I have used these Imaginarium Designs pieces:
Girl Silhouette (as a mask)
12 Buttons on Board (I used 3 buttons and the base piece for layering)
Techniques:

Title & feather: I painted them black with acrylic paint, I randomly applied some turquoise with a brush and finally heat embossed them with clear UTEE.
Buttons: Two of them were randomly painted with acrylic paints (yellow, turquoise) and I painted the edges black to give them definition. The button in the cluster, I "dressed" it with patterned paper!
Small frame: I painted it orange and rubbed some white with my finger. Then I painted the edges black to give it definition.
Girl silhouette: I used the base as a mask, I draw the outline and then I dabbed some distress ink (broken China) with the applicator.
Button base: I painted it black, I embossed it using a cuttlebug folder and then I heat embossed it with clear UTEE.

                                                            ****

I have also made a tag! For the background I just applied randomly acrylic paints and Tattered Angels stamps!!!

Materials used:
Chipboard: Imaginarium Designs
Stamps: Tattered Angels
Acrylic paints: Unknown

For the tag I have used:
Small clock face
and phrase "Everyday goddess"

Techniques:

Clock & cogs: I applied distress inks randomly (Walnut stain, fired brick) and then I heat embossed it with clearUTEE.
Everyday goddess: I painted it yellow and then splashed some red acrylic paint using my brush.

And yes...you made it to the end of that post! Congratulations! Hehe...
I hope you enjoyed it and found it helpful!!!

"On the rocks" - Berry 71 Bleu

Hello my friends!!!

As you all know, Keren's challenge for October at Berry 71 Bleu is "mixed media"! I love experimenting with various mediums but if you think about it, every scrapbooking project is mixed media since you are using more than one material!!! We use paper, stamps, inks, flowers, ribbon...you name it!

Here is a layout I made about our recent visit to the sea and our favorite beach in Athens!
This is my DD Ioli on the rocks!!!

I used a Prima brick mask and Martha Stewart's white texture on the background. I have also used a stamp and various glimmer mists!

The canvas heart was misted using a Prima damask stencil!

Materials used:
Papers, flowers, pearls, wooden tickets, chipboard & alpha stickers, stamp, stencils, resist canvas: Prima
Glimmer mist, glimmer glam: Tattered Angels
Sea shells and starfish, handpicked!!!
I am also entering this to Prima BAP using this sketch:

I am really looking forward to seeing what you'll come up with playing around with your own mists, paints, stencils...etc!!! There are wonderful prizes waiting for you!!!
Have a nice creative day!

Unity Stamp Company Donates Towards Christmas Love Campaign: Come Join In.

Here is what Susan wrote about this at her blog:

"When I saw Angela Magnuson post on Facebook this morning that Unity Stamps was going to donate $3 from the the sale of every one of my Snowman stamps towards the Christmas Love Campaign….. which I am donating the money to the Canadian Cancer Society, I couldn’t believe it. I was speechless. I still am. I am SO touched.  In fact…… I will just post the information today and have to talk about it another time because I really am so overwhelmed by emotions at this moment! Thank-you! Thank-you to everyone!!!
So, please….. join in. We have so many sponsors signing up this year it is going to be AWESOME and I know that we can make so many people SMILE! SO lets spread some LOVE!!!!"

This is truly awesome!!! What a great way to show how much love we all have in our hearts!!! I'd love it if you could all join in!!!
The basic idea is that you "spread some love" by crafting something - ANYTHING - and then you share it with someone - anyone - even a total stranger! After which you upload a photo and/or post about your experience on Susan's blog.  And as if that's not enough, you are then entered into the random draws that Susan makes over a 2 1/2 month period.  It has really taken off over the past couple of years and there is even a badge that you can grab for your own blog if you participate ( I LOVE that!).   And now along with Susan's own amazing line of products, prizes are now being provided by other people and companies as more and more people  "Share the LOVE".  Check out this amazing offer from Unity Stamps for this year's campaign...
Have a nice week!!!
